Where Did I Get It Done?
I got this style done at Hair By Susy. It is located in brooklyn, NYC but she also has a location in Los Angeles
Where Was The Inspiration?
Hair by susy does creative braids and y’all know from hair as art episode 11 that I am trying to do only do creative braids this year so it seemed like alignment. Basically I wanted a mix of the koroba braids that I had last time as well as this second picture hair style that they did below.
How long did it take?
11-12 hours. I think you have to expect creative braids to take a while. Because my first style took forever but there were multiple people. This style was 1 person. She kept apologizing but I told her she was doing a pretty good job especially since she is on her own. The day before she did a 13 hour hairstyle so I can’t imagine the pain she felt. Props to her.
What colors were used?
27 which is a honey blonde was the primary color. The koroba braids and the bun had a blend of 613, 27 and burgundy.
What was the final product?
You see koroba braids in the back and the swirls in the front/on the side. It looks like for her to do the swirls, she threaded it like you would do a sew in
